Dear Patients
I love working as a GP in Carrigdhoun Surgery and I plan to keep working for as long as I am able.
After much thought however I reluctantly resigned from my Medical Card contract and this will take
effect on 10/08/23.
After that date I will continue to work solely as a Private GP, over 3 or 4 days, here in Carrigdhoun
Surgery.
I am happy to see any of my patients on a private basis but will only be able to write private prescriptions
from that date.
The HSE are writing to my medical card patients regarding the doctor who will take care of their needs under the
medical card scheme.
I will continue to offer general medical care with a continued emphasis on prevention of disease, along with
free antenatal care , free baby vaccinations and other vaccination services, free contraception care for those
eligible and free cervical smears. I will continue to provide social welfare certifications when needed.
I look forward to the privilege of many more years, working as your GP
Kind Regards
Deborah
